Aesthetics, symbolism, the play of proportions, architectural forms, realities in interplay with the abstract, this is the world of Jürgen Ebert’s sculptures. His sculptures express his artistic „being“, his physis and psyche. They reflect an artist who is devoted to the concerns of his fellow humans and who sympathises from an analytical distance.Jürgen Ebert comes from an old sculpturing family. He studied classical sculpture at the State Sculpture School in Oberammergau from 1973 to 1976 completing his artistic education from 1976 to 1982 at the Academy of Visual Arts in Munich under Prof. E. Koch. After gaining his diploma he settled down as a freelance sculptor in his home town Bocholt where he has his studio and gallery for his bronze sculptures and a sculpture garden. >> more...
